Anita Gonzalez Loa

Anita Gonzalez Loa, 95, peacefully went home to be with Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home with Pastor Myrtle Penny officiating. Interment will follow in Mooreville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home in Marlin, Texas.

Anita was born December 4, 1926 to Ambrosio and Ignacia Gonzalez in San Antonio, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Chilton, Texas. She married the love of her life, Eliseo “Leo” Loa on December 5, 1951. They were married for 58 years. Anita was a homemaker and as well worked along the side of her husband at Leo’s Grocery Store for many years. She was a member of Church of Agape. She enjoyed spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her beloved granddog, Juicy J and her partner in crime, Sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambrosio and Ignacia “Ena” Gonzalez, her husband, Eliseo “Leo” Loa, two brothers, and five sisters, two granddaughters, Ena “Little Ena” Loa and Felicia Loa McCann and one grandson, Rick “Bubba” Wylie.

Survivors include her daughters, Josie Rodriguez and husband, Vernon of Satin, Ena Loa and Phillip Campbell of Chilton, Elsa Loa Wylie of Chilton, Mary Loa Hernandez and husband, Jeronimo of Chilton, Margaret Loa of Chilton; sons Leo Loa of Chilton, and Len Loa of Chilton;

26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
