Donna "Jill" Phillips, 68, of Bluffton passed away at 4:54 PM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 with loved ones at her side. Jill was retired after several years in various fields of Social Work throughout Allen and Wells Counties. Most recently she held a position at "A Friend's House" in Bluffton. Jill was a 1967 graduate of Dunkirk High School and a 2014 graduate of Bluffton Bible College. She was a beloved member of the Harvest Time Bible Church congregation and loved serving troubled individuals through the jail ministry in Wells County. Jill loved watching movies and spent a lot of time encouraging countless people through writing beautiful cards and notes of encouragement. She will likely be most remembered for her unique and infectious laugh and sense of humor. She was a friend to many and her greatest joys were being "Mamaw" to her grandchildren and serving with her church family.
Jill was born on December 19, 1948 in Portland, IN, to Tommy Dale and Elizabeth Marie (Zdravecky) Phillips.
Survivors include three daughters: Branda Musselman of Fort Wayne, Brett (Mike) McBride of Bluffton, and Blair Wright of Speedway, IN; a son: Mitchell (Maggie) Westerman of Indianapolis; Eight grandchildren: Reed, Tess, Quincee, Quade, Maryn, Elias, William, and Elleanor. A brother: Tommy Dale "Chip" Phillips II of Dunkirk, IN; three nephews, and some beloved cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Dixie Mumbower.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 3-8 PM at the Harvest Time Bible Church, 11015 S. 600 E., Keystone, Indiana.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Church with Pastor Tony Robles officiating.
