David L. Frick

David L. Frick, 90 of Zanesville passed away Wednesday evening, June 26, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. Dave was a truck driver for over 60 years. He had owned and operated Frick's pallets for 26 years. He was a longtime member of the Zanesville Community Church of God, where he served as a Trustee. Dave was a member of the Zanesville Lions Club, a former Boy Scout leader and a former volunteer firefighter of Southwest Allen County. He was also a former member of the Zanesville town council. Dave loved to play baseball and softball, playing for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and he never knew a stranger. Dave was born on June 7, 1934, in New Providence, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Charles G. and Lillie J. (Miller) Frick. He was united in marriage to Sandra L. Goshorn on October 8, 1955, in Fort Wayne. Sandy survives. Additional survivors include three sons: Mike (Amy) Frick, Randy (Mary) Frick and Gregg Frick all of Zanesville; a brother: Bill Frick of Lancaster, PA; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee Street, Markle, Indiana. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Zanesville Community Church of God, 11984 Marzane Road, Zanesville, Indiana, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment will take place at the Hoverstock Cemetery in Zanesville.
