William Carroll Ledford

He was born May 29, 1932 in McDowell County, NC to the late E.W. Ledford and Ora Lytle Ledford. Mr. Ledford was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Nealsville Church of God and he retired from IAC in Old Fort, NC.

Surviving Mr. Ledford are his wife, Frances Painter Ledford of the home; his son, Mike Ledford and wife, Debra Pool Ledford of Marion, NC; one brother, Edward Ledford of Old Fort, NC; two sisters, Christine Walker of Old Fort, NC and Frances Slagle and husband, Sonny of Black Mountain, NC; one granddaughter, Jennifer; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Nealsville Church of God with Rev. Doug Carpenter and Rev. Dean Owenby officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
