She was born in Swain County, NC to the late Harley Ballew and Zenia Jones Ballew. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband; James Wiley Moore, Sr. and a son; James Wiley Moore, Jr.
Surviving Mrs. Moore are two daughters; Nancy Moore, and Dale Overturf, of Knoxville, TN, Margaret Moore Caraway, husband, Carmel, of Marion, and two sisters; Estelle Ballew, of Marion, and Ruth Massengille, of Atlanta, GA, two grandchildren; Christopher Moore, and Gene Turner, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Dale Overturf officiating.
