Linda Bradburn Buchanan

Linda B. Buchanan, age 68, of Marion, NC received the best birthday present anyone could ask for. She left this earth for her heavenly home, on her 68th birthday, where she joined her husband Wade, on Wednesday, January 19, 2016.

Mrs. Buchanan was born on January 19, 1948 in Swain County, NC to the late Alvin Bradburn and Elizabeth Cole Bradburn.

Linda was a member of Cross Memorial Baptist Church of Marion. She was an avid reader, loved to garden and grow beautiful flowers. She loved dogs and leaves behind her cherished little Chihuahua named Colt. Above all else, her family was the joy of her life and she loved them dearly.

In addition to her parents, and her husband Wade, she is also preceeded in death by a brother, Steve Bradburn.

Surviving Mrs. Buchanan are one brother, David Bradburn and wife Jessie, of Nebo, NC; one sister, Kathy Bradburn of Marion; a nephew Steven Bradburn and wife April of Harrogate, TN; a special niece Andrea Turbyfill of Newland, NC; one great niece Emily Bradburn of Harrogate, TN and one special aunt and two special uncles.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Cross Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Prevette officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
