Esther Macie Tepper

Macie was born October 13, 1952 in Nassau, Bahamas to the late Thomas and Vergie Malone Roberts. She was a faithful member of Greenlee Baptist Church where she was active in the Ladies Visitation Program, WMU, her Sunday school class and the Senior Adult Group. Macie loved her family and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She especially loved being “Grandma” to her six beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Conrad Tepper.

Left behind to cherish Macie’s memory are one son, Brian Tepper (Blanca); three daughters, Tammy Weber (Keith), Karrie Tepper and Amanda Buthmann (Erich); six grandchildren, Sage, Sydney, Haley, J.J., Brielle and Emily; three brothers, Thomas Malone (Nancy), William Roberts (Stephanie) and George Roberts; three sisters, Marva Salvato (Ken), Marina Roberts-Powell and Marguerite Cisson; and one sister-in-law, Theresa Roberts.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Greenlee Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church with Rev. Jonathan Tipper and Rev. Ned Webb officiating. A graveside service will be held at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC at a later date.
