William Alan Ames, age 68 of Marietta passed away on September 30, 2018. He was born December 31, 1949 to the late William Henry Ames and Helen Lucille Cook Ames in Cleveland, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lisa Kurtz Ames; children: William F. Ames, Daniel Blair, Russell Blair (Rachel), Jennifer Cortez (Xavier); grandchildren: River Manya Blair and April Cortez; sisters: Donna Burke (Jeff) and Carol Ames.
A memorial service for William A. Ames, who lost his two year battle with cancer on September 30, 2018 with be held on October 14, 2018 from 3 pm until 5 pm at the Courtyard Marriott, 2455 Delk Road SE, Marietta, GA 30067.
