Mr. Wesley D. Dunn

Mr. Dunn graduated from Rockmart High School in 1958. He served his country in the US Navy from 1959 to 1963. He worked for Norfolk Southern Railway as a locomotive engineer and retired after 40 years. In his spare time he was an avid hunter and wood craftsman.

Mr. Dunn is preceded in death by his son Dwayne Anthony Dunn; parents Charles Wesley Dunn & Annie Lee Dunn. He is survived by his loving of close to 53 years, Linda Lee Dunn of Smyrna, Georgia; daughter Kelly Lynn Dunn of Roswell, Georgia; sister Jerrie Lee Thefied of Cedartown; and many brother’s & sister’s-in-law, as well as numerous extended nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dunn was an active member of Sharon Baptist Church of Smyrna, Georgia. Funeral services for Mr. Dunn will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1 o’clock in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Alton Wilson officiating & Billy Ray Smith of Knoxville, TN delivering the eulogy.

Family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment services will be conducted following the service in the Field of Honor at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.
