Theresa Lee Clay

She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1967, and retired from the Atlanta Board of Education School System after 40+ years of dedicated service. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, staying involved in her Church, and keeping up with her cats.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Billie, husband, David “Randy” Clay, and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Rutledge. She is survived by sister, Genia Smith of Marietta, GA; nieces, Christina Karst (Evan) of Marietta, GA; Kathy Hornsby (Robbie) of Griffin, GA; Kim Edwards (Joey) of Stockbridge, GA; and several great nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Grayson, GA. Theresa’s family will also be celebrating her life during the 10:45am service at First Baptist Church Stockbridge on Sunday, March 19, 2023.
