Stephanie Elise Taylor, age 51, of Annandale Village in Suwanee, Georgia, passed away in the early morning of November 15, 2023. She was born at Dekalb General Hospital in Decatur, Ga on October 5, 1972.She is survived by her parents, Hubert Amos Taylor (Roselyn) and Diane Grace Estrumse Taylor. Stephanie is also survived by her aunt, Linda Gay Estrumse Echols, (Jim); uncle, Major Douglas Scott Estrumse, Sr. (Mei), and aunt, Betty Joan Cuddy as well as five cousins, Laura Wellmon, Brandon Echols, Douglas Scott Estrumse Jr., Dylan Sean Estrumse and Dr. Mary Elizabeth Cuddy. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Margaret Winona Grisham Estrumse and Colonel Elmer Frank Estrumse, Margaret Ruby Muse Taylor and Amos Adell Taylor. Stephanie was sweet, lovable and kind. She enjoyed playing with her cat and dog, a Paplillion named Rusty. When she lived in Kennesaw, Georgia, she graduated from North Cobb High School. She also attended the Tommy Nobis Center and graduated from there as well. She worked briefly in the CD-DVD store and as a ticket taker in a theater. She was a member of the Girl Scouts and earned a great many badges. She also one year sold the most Girl Scout cookies than anyone else in the county and received an award for that. She became an original member of the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children in Atlanta, Ga after she developed a brain tumor at age nine. Stephanie was a member of the Level Creek United Methodist Church in Suwanee, Ga. She lived in Kennesaw, Ga and in Punta Gorda, FL but went on many vacations around the country with her parents. One of her favorites was the annual trip for a week in the mountains at Big Canoe in Georgia. In 1998, she went on a group trip with Camp Sunshine to Washington, DC to see the Capital and to meet Buddy Darden. Eventually she went to live at Annandale Village in Suwanee, Ga. In her later years she was in specialized round the clock nursing care at Annandale Village. An open casket viewing and funeral service was held at 12:30 pm at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home on November 21, 2023. The quilted runner on her casket was made by her mother and was buried with her. She was buried at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. The Historic Marietta Chapel of Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home was in charge of the service.
