He was a graduate of Fulton High School in Atlanta. After graduation, he served in the US Army, during the Korean War. He was a 50 year member of Plumbers, Pipefitters & HVACR Technicians Local Union 72. He was a loving father and grandfather. An avid traveler, he would tell you he only missed two of the great states. He had a great sense of humor and was known by many as Rubinisms. He was well known as a great craftsman and enjoyed working in the workshop. He was loved by many and would do anything for anyone and ended every visit with “if you need anything just let me know”.
Preceded in death by his wives, Odell Ward White and Mary M. White; and son Richard J. Hohen.

Wilson and her husband, Gary Wilson; Christine Ainsworth, Kenny Ainsworth; Diane Hohen; seven grandchildren, Ashley & Devanglo Gibby; April & Wagner Lima; Jonathon Wieck; Michael Wilson; Steven & Katie Wilson; Jennifer & Jonathan Price; Brandon & Erica Ainsworth; Kelly & John Batchelder; Howie Hohen; great- grandchildren, Gabriella Gibby; Adalynn Gibby; Dylan Wieck; Cameron Chandler; Sophia Lima; Tanner J. Wilson; Rori D. Wilson; Tori M. Wilson; Evelyn G. Wilson; Nicholas G. Wilson; Anna Price; Connor Ainsworth; Hayden Ainsworth; Charlotte Batchelder; Payson Batchelder.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday Dec. 28 at 2 PM in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral with interment to follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 12 until 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to any charitable group.
