

Ronald pursued higher education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering. During his time there, he was an active member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity, forging friendships that lasted throughout his life.
Professionally, Ronald's career was distinguished by his dedication and expertise in aerospace engineering. His work contributed to advancements in the field, and he was respected by colleagues and peers alike.
In his spare time, Ronald had a love for golf, often spending his leisure time on the course. He also served as a coach for the Georgia Amateur Hockey Association (GAHA), sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport with young athletes. Known for his engaging conversations on a wide range of topics, Ronald's bright and unique personality endeared him to all who knew him.
Along with his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Birdseye.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Sharon Birdseye; children, Christian Birdseye, James (Valeriya) Birdseye and Andrew (Jana) Birdseye; sisters, Wendy Pavlus and Karen Dupree; multiple grandchildren, a great grandchild, and extended family members and friends to cherish his memory.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Ronald's life will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 12:00pm at HM Patterson Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30068.
