Robin Mary Herron, age 66, of Lawrenceville passed away surrounded by her family April 26, 2023. Robin was born to Earl Brown and Joyce Prince Brown in Smyrna, GA, and she graduated from Sequoyah High School in Dekalb County.
Robin was a deeply spiritual person. Her three sons, their wives, and eleven grandchildren were the joy of her life. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family on holidays and special occasions, and truly enjoyed teaching them about the love of Jesus. She devotedly attended Believers Voice of Victory, followed Kenneth Copeland Ministries, and enjoyed watching the Trinity Broadcasting Network. She was a natural caregiver and was always ready to lend a hand or offer some spiritual advice. Her caring and helpful nature applied to both humans and animals, as she was an animal-lover and was never without a pet in the house. In her free time, she also enjoyed gardening and tending her canna lilies and irises.
Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Powell; father, Earl Brown; and sister, Jenny Arnold. She is survived by her loving sons, Blake Herron (spouse, Mary) of Lawrenceville, Luke Herron (spouse, Huong Tra “Sumi” Le) of Lawrenceville, and Marc Herron (spouse, Monica) of Buford; her dad, Coy Powell; sisters, Debbie Ellington (spouse, Ricky) and Penny Powell; grandchildren, Kenneth, Genevieve, Aislinn, Robert, William, Brandon, Bruce, Aidan, Ethan, Grant, and Giovanna; and many beloved extended family and friends.
A memorial service honoring Robin’s life will be held Saturday, May 6th, 12:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 12:00 PM before the service.
