Robert Randall

Mr. Robert G. "Bob" Randall, Sr., age 82 of Smyrna, Ga. passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011. Mr. Randall was born on March 4, 1929 in Elmira, NY to Gerald and Martha Randall. In 1959, he moved to Albany, Ga. to begin a 35 year career as as Systems Engineer with IBM. Mr. Randall also worked for MAPICS as a consultant for over 10 years. Mr. Randall will be remembered as a man who loved his family and his church. He will be deeply missed.

Mr. Randall was predeceased by his beloved wife Janet. He is survived by his sons Robert G. Randall II and wife Linda of Brunswick, GA; David W. Randall and wife Sharon of Americus, GA and Dennis W. Randall of Austell, GA; daughters Laurie Randall Williams and husband Richard of Ravenel, SC; Angela L. Vail and husband Charles of Fayetteville, GA, sister Jean Shaver of Wayland, NY; grandchildren Richard Williams, Kevin Randall, Kayla Randall, Shaun Williams, Daron Randall, Whitney Vail, Jacob Vail, Tiffany Randall, Kyle Randall and Krista Randall, and great-grandchildren Brady Williams, Dylan Williams, Madison Howell, Landon Randall, Ty Randall and Cade Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 3:00pm at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:15 to 2:45pm prior to the service.
