It has been such a great honor and blessing for me to have been able to call Bob my dear friend, my mentor, and my inspiration for almost thirty years.  Whenever I needed help or advice, Bob was always there for me and he never let me down.  The debt I owe to him can never be repaid.  What a wonderful person and what a bright and shining light he has been for so long in this world for all of us who loved him!  
I smile to remember him saying that someone had once likened him to a bumble bee (more correctly a Yellow Jacket, ha, ha) because he was always busy doing something and could never sit still.  Well, I hope he knows how much he meant to all of us who miss him, his busy bee ways, and that exuberant voice of his today.  As Edgar Guest would say, the passing of Bob’s name leaves “a sorrow far and wide”.  Rest in peace my old friend.

The members of Daedalian Flight 102 wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Bob Bowman. We have many fond memories of Bob throughout the years. His friendship and comradery greatly enhanced our meetings . He will be missed by all of us. We have donated $100 to our scholarship fund in Bob's name.

I was able to meet and form a friendship with  Bob when I joined NH in 2016. He made an impact on me from the moment I met him at orientation where he passed around his original business card. He would come into the office every Tuesday and swing by to swap stories. I loved hearing about his time in the Air Force on the B47's , his early days in Atlanta, founding NH, and more. Every time I saw Bob was a boost to my day. I am proud to work at a company that Bob founded. I will think about him often—especially when I drive by the B47 Stratojet off of I-95 near Savannah.

I worked with Bob at NH for 16 years.  He was one of my favorite people.  He always brought a smile to my face whether through a humorous observation or a sincere wish to know how I was doing.  When he retired (not sure which time) I told him an anecdote about my father’s first week of retirement.  He never failed to tell me he hadn’t yet felt the need to optimize vacuuming it became a bit of a shared joke.  I appreciated that he listened with care and recalled details years later.  My condolences to his family.  He was a special man and I won’t forget him

I was fortunate enough to work with Bob for 15 years at North Highland.  A unique firm he helped found.  I am so grateful for the experience.  The firm was such an exciting place to work, Bob’s positive and encouraging personality was a part of the firm’s fabric.  I loved hearing his stories, and was always so impressed by how he stayed connected with his North Highland family, his Air Force buddies, GaTech, and his family - all of whom he was so proud of.  Bob you lived a full, impressive and beautiful life.  Your contribution had an impact on me and so many others.  Thank You, Annette Behan, consultant #80
