Mr. Burnett was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict, and was a former resident of Hopkinsville, KY and a former employee of Howard Morris Trucking. Mr. Burnett was a member of Buffalo Lick Baptist Church and had worked at many grocery store meat markets in the area.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Adams Burnett; son, Larry Burnett.
Survived by his daughters, Karen Drennan and her husband James, Kim Conley and her husband, Todd; grandchildren, Jennifer Bell, Brad Brinkley, John Drennan, Kathryn Walker, Tabetha Soulis, Jamie Brinkley, Christopher Conley; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild also survives.
Graveside service will be held Sunday Nov. 3 at 11 AM at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. John Burnett officiating. The U. S. Navy will provide military honors.
