Randall William Nash

Randall William Nash, 76, of Marietta passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 11am at Piedmont Church with Dr. Dwight “Ike” Reighard officiating. The remains will be at the church at 10am. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park. Mr. Nash was a native of Grantville, Ga and moved to Cobb County in 1970. He was an active member of Piedmont Church for 44 years where he served as a Deacon and Sunday school teacher to youth and adults. Mr. Nash served in the National Guard for 8 ½ years and was employed with Flowers Baking Company for 40 years before his retirement. Before Flowers Baking Company, he was employed with Merita Bread and Southern Bell. He was athletic and loved sports including water skiing. He was preceded in death by his son R. Wayne Nash; parents, Bill and Janie Nash; sister, Anita G. Burden; brother, Barry D. Nash. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Madelyn Fain Nash; daughter, Rhonda N. Rice (Greg); son, W. Darin Nash; grandchildren, Tiffany D. Rice, Kara E. Rice and Aidan N. Nash.
