Mr. Peter Martin Swain

Mr. Swain was born in 1954 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and was educated at St. George College and St. John College in Buenos Aires. He immigrated to the United States in 1977 and attained US citizenship in 2008. He maintained duel citizenships. He operated as an independent builder in the Atlanta area for thirty years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Sheila Blanchard Swain, and a sister, Carolyn Swain Dahl. He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Sheryl Dalton Swain, sons Sebastian and Patrick Swain, and daughter, Adriana Swain of Marietta, Georgia, and sister Laurie Swain Müller of Buenos Aires, Argentina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and hundreds of friends. A remembrance service will be held at the Swain residence at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 2592 Stoney Brook Lane, Marietta, GA. Service will be followed by an “asado” to celebrate the life of our favorite Argentine. A homecoming and memorial service will be held at St. Michael’s Cathedral in Buenos Aires, Argentina on December 4, 2010.
