Peter was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother. He was so in love with his beautiful wife Wendie and precious daughter Katie. He loved his family and his church & shared God's word with so many people. The time he gave to the church events and service projects showed his commitment to God and bringing others to the Lord. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. We will remember your humor in our sweet memories, until we see you again in heaven. Love you and your family. Lifting you all up in prayer.

I worked with Peter through Incomm. He was our client. He was a very kind and passionate individual and will be greatly missed!

I don't know where to begin in describing what a wonderful person Peter was. He seemed to always put others needs above his own and was so involved in our church community. He wore his heart on his sleeve, especially when it came to his precious girls, Wendie and Katie. His Facebook posts about them were a testament to how much he adored them both. The surprise Vegas trip last week was just one more demonstration of his profound love for Wendie. He always had a smile on his face and made such an impression on everyone he knew, including children. My 2 year old, Sydney, still remembers his name after he came over to our house to help decorate Justin's truck for the Habitat parade last fall. She kept randomly mentioning Mr. Peter the weeks after that, I think because he was so fun. Everywhere I saw him, he always greeted me so warmly and asked how I was. I don't think there was a prayer request I sent out that he didn't respond to. I'm thankful that our family went to the circus with the Kerins recently and shared a meal together afterwards. We had a great time. Peter was so passionate in his love for Jesus and I feel privileged to have known him. I will strive to live like Peter did, so full of life, positive, compassionate, faithful and loving. The list could go on and on. I will miss him greatly as our team takes the field without our captain and pitcher at the Thompson Tournament Saturday. Wendie and Katie, you are so loved. My heart hurts so much right now, but I just pray that together as a community we can lift each other up as we celebrate the life of Peter.

We met Peter through our Sunday School class and got to know him through various church related activities.  I remember how passionate and convicted he was during our group discussions.  He was never afraid to challenge the class to step outside our comfort zones.  He lived a life that demonstrated God's love and compassion for others... and although Peter is in a better place, we will miss him so much. I hope and pray that we can all be more like Peter with his generosity, his passion and his love for Jesus Christ.

It was my lucky day when Peter literally "walked" into my life.  I was holding an open house in Marietta, and he came in wearing a Georgia Bulldog shirt and equipped with a clipboard.  He looked around a bit and thankfully I asked him how I could help.  This began a journey in which I shortly met Wendie and Katie.  We put their home on the market, and eventually found them a new home.  Throughout the process, it was evident to me that he was a kind and gentle man, and only wanted the best for his family.  A Realtor gets to know their clients during this process and it was my greatest pleasure to get to know them as well.  We went through ups and downs, frustrations and joy.  I cannot begin to express my sorrow over his passing.  I will miss seeing him and hearing his quick wit.  But, mostly I'll miss seeing the way he looked at Wendie and Katie with such adoration.  I know his faith was his guidance and in the world today, this is a rarity.  I admired this in him, and although he never boasted about his ministry to others, it was evident.  Today, I experienced the knowledge that so many others felt the same way about Peter.  He was such a special man!  My thoughts and continued prayers will be sent to the family.  I am thankful to have had the opportunity to know him and love him, as well as his girls.  May peace be with you.

Peter was a man who devoted much of his time to helping others. He mentored adolescent boys, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, and would basically always show up if somebody was needed. When Dustin and I needed a ride to the airport for one of our flights to Ethiopia, Peter picked us up at 3am and drove us there. The Habitat Road Race Tot Trot is one of my favorite memories of Peter! The children loved to be part of the race, and he made it so much fun. He was a man of integrity, a man who adored his wife and daughter, and genuinely tried to make this world a better place. He will be sadly missed.

I worked with Peter at InComm.  He was a joy to be associated with in this environment because of the quality of his work and was always spot on with important information.  His passing is a shock to all of the Alpharetta personnel since he was so highly regarded.  May God's many blessings by with his family.  He will be missed but never forgotten.

Peter and I worked together since the early days working with a great team of sharp people at SolTech.  I was always impressed by how principled and dedicated he was.  Wendie and Katie are in my prayers, and Peter will be remembered in many great memories.

I first met Peter 5 years ago when we attended a baptism class together at church.  We were blessed to get to know the Kerins through Sunday School and have so many fond memories of Peter.  He was a great example of what it looks like to love the Lord with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind.  His loss is devastating and he will be missed immensely.  I'm thankful for the wonderful legacy and example he has left for Katie.  There is no shortage of people who can remind her as she grows up what a wonderful Daddy she had. Peter's love for Wendie and Katie was evident in everything he did. He will forever be missed.

As I sit here waiting to fly back to Atlanta in Seattle I remember that the last time I was here waiting for this same flight was with Peter on our way back from one of our  Business Adventures with InComm. I think those crazy trips, whether they were to Columbus GA or our week long Florida road trip will be my fondest memories of him. You would've been hard pressed to find two people having a more serious conversation about Futurama (or Star Trek, or Marvel movies, or the Simpsons...) than us.

My heart breaks at the loss of Peter, and I will miss him dearly. He was a good man, husband, father, and friend. Wendie and Katie, please know that you are in our prayers and that Peter will never be forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.

Wendie and Katie, I am so very sorry for your loss and will continue to hold you both in prayer.  I know there is another angel in heaven to watch over you both.

Wendie and Katie ~ your husband and your Dad, he was a great guy!!!  He was a lot of fun and we enjoyed talking about TV shows, as I periodically send out updates and info on the shows that I watch.  Peter was good at picking out the shows that would be cancelled and those that would succeed.  I loved hearing his commentaries of the shows; he was quite witty.  He was just a fun guy to be around.  He continued on my email distribution list after he left InComm.  The last email I got from him was about the new SyFy show, The Magicians.  He had watched the first 2 episodes and thought it was interesting.  We were both big Fringe fans.

Gosh, I'm going to miss hearing from him.  However, I take comfort in knowing that he had a strong faith in God.  I'm not sure why God called Peter home so early.  But I know Peter is happy and understands all those things that we don't, while we're here, still on earth.

God loves Peter, so I know he's in great hands.  God will take care of Peter until we all see him again.

Even though I met Peter at work 6 years ago, we were more than just colleagues, we were friends!  We spoke about our kids, our lives and not just our work.  He was always so upbeat and genuine and the love he has for Wendy and Katie is truly incredible and touching. He always had a smile, an encouraging work and the first person to jump in and help when you needed it. He was a once in a lifetime type of person and I can honestly say I was blessed to have known him and to have crossed paths with him in my life.  I will always smile when I think of you.  You will be missed Peter!

I first met Peter in the Fall of 2009 as I joined InComm as the team's new manager. Rather than being resentful, Peter was very open and shared as much as he could and in time we became more than just colleagues and together we worked to change the team culture making InComm a fun place to work. He was full of life, warm, funny, sarcastic at times, but always driven and always focused on the bigger picture of why we work...so that we may live our lives. Over the years, Peter and I shared many ups and downs, the birth of our children, changes in our organization, careers and hurdles in life, but through it all Peter remained optimistic. His favorite thing to do each year was to play an April Fool's prank on me and each year he would get me with something new and even when I started working from home that day, he'd find some way to get to me. I miss Peter, he was a good friend and I'm a better person to have known him and that's one of the best compliments I think I can bestow upon a man who was already a wonderful employee, devoted husband, caring son and loving father. Though you maybe gone Peter, you will never be forgotten.

We had the amazing opportunity to spend the weekend with Wendie & Peter at Chateau Élan for an art event! He had such an amazing spirit. Even though it was only a weekend, it truly made my heart ache to hear of his passing. Prayers for peace for the family...

I had the pleasure of working with Peter during my tenure at Incomm. He was well respected and was a great guy all around. He actually turned me on to Jamaican Me Crazy coffee because he of course ranted and raved over it. I hope this message makes you laugh as Peter I'm sure wouldn't want us to shed a tear for him but remember him as the funny guy he was. Dear Wendie, Katie, and family,
We continue to think and pray for you constantly. We will always remember Peter as having a faithful, encouraging spirit and heart of gold. Thinking back to his actions and words, he truly embodied many qualities Jesus had and taught: childlike and passionate faith, loving others as himself, and humble servitude. I honestly can't think of a time Peter ever dismissed an opportunity to help others. From making and serving food to hundreds of needy kids to helping me carry a car seat last month. He was always encouraging people to come out and serve for all types of needs. I remember him wanting to continue with his roles in Faithmates missions even after y'all transferred to the north campus. He was a very devoted person, yet he didn't try to take life so seriously - and this light hearted attitude was uplifting to be around. Wendie this year as you helped care for our girls we feel we have grown close to you and Katie, but it is also a very special memory for us that we were able to share a number of Wednesday night dinners with all of you. I enjoyed being around Peter those evenings because he always asked about me and my family. He was so caring and it showed through small actions like simple questions and taking up our trays after dinner saying it was no trouble. And the kids talked about Mr. Peter each week. Kids in general seemed to be drawn to him. Justin and I'd taught 1st grade Sunday school with him years ago and I remember thinking that he just naturally understood the hearts of children - he knew when to leave them alone if they were upset, etc.. And what an amazing father to Katie! Just watching them interact, I could tell he truly knew and understood her and loved her unconditionally. Everyone could see that he was a most wonderful family man to both of you and loved you more than anything. I love how he had just taken you on the surprise trip to Vegas last week so that you could spend 5 days together, just the two of you. How true to Peter's sweet nature was the whole plan, and his innocent, casual outlook that makes us all laugh, like how he told you not to pack anything dressy for the trip! :) Another funny memory Justin and I have of Peter is how much he loved Kohls. Over the years we ran into him there multiple times, and he told us on several occasions how much he liked Kohls. One year at the Habitat race, the morning chill was very cold, but Peter had on shorts. We asked him if he was cold and he said "eh, I can just run up to Kohls and get some pants when there's a break". For some reason this still makes us laugh today - he was good at making people smile. It is nothing but heartbreaking to see you and Katie lose your beloved husband and father. Yet certainly heartwarming to see God's blessings in the midst of it all. Sometimes we don't know why God's plan is the way it is, but we will honor God's servant, Peter, by doing what he would have done: hold strong to our faith, find a way to laugh, and be there for you and Katie, praying that you can begin to heal.

I was an old friend of Peter's.  I heard through some mutual friends (Matt & Joannah) of Peter's sudden passing.  Prayers to his wife and daughter, Ron & Cathy and all of his family and friends.  Such a tragic loss for such a young man. I am truly sorry.

Peter was such a pleasure to work with. He was funny, patient, methodical, and down-to-earth. I had hoped to stay in touch with him and was so sad when I learned of his sudden passing. My thoughts go out to his family and loved ones. So sorry for your loss.

Peter and I worked together for the better part of four years. I met his wife Wendie and his daughter Katlynn. I was shocked and deeply saddened when I heard he passed. Peter was a good man. I will sorely miss Peter. I had the pleasure to  work with Peter for over 3 years. He taught me much. His dry humor was always appreciated and he was a man of utmost principle and class.
