Ms. Mildred R. Walton 88 of College Park died Sunday, October 10, 2010. Ms. Walton was a member of Southwest Christian Church in College Park and retired from Grady Memorial Hospital as a social worker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Walton. Ms. Walton is survived by her son, Vance Walton and wife Kabee of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Paulette Owens and husband Charles of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Marie Martin and husband Wayne, Anna Walton, Kimberly Jenkins and husband Jason, Kelly Miller and husband Craig, and Jaime Royals; great-grandchildren, Dylan Martin and Cadence Miller. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at H. M. Patterson and Son, Canton Hill Chapel in Marietta. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
