Michael Jerome Devore II, age 93, of Redding Connecticut and Brevard North Carolina passed away on September 19th. He was born in 1931 to Michael and Ceil Devore. He was the owner of Devores Bakery in Fairfield, CT.
In his spare time and during his retirement he enjoyed gardening and volunteering. He was active in both the Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Societies. He was a volunteer for the Redding Ridge Fire Department, The Bread of Life and the Job Corp gardening program.
Michael is proceeded in death by Michael Jerome Devore III. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, John Ann and daughters Diane Devore, Lisa Erickson (Mark) and Laura Hollar (John). He is also survived by grandchildren Celia Erickson, Alexander Rossetti, Caroline Hollar Sims (Dylan), Natalie Hollar and great grandson Andrew Sims.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday November 14th at The Catholic Church of St Anns in Marietta, GA.
