I can’t believe Mike has been gone for a year. It’s still a fresh wound for me. I think about Mike all the time. I miss the uncontrollable laughter we shared. I miss my friend. I’ll be up there to see you sooner than later, brother. 

I was so sad to learn of Mike’s passing. We dated in high school and although we hadn’t seen each other in years, we had kept in touch through Facebook. He was one of the kindest, most genuine people I have known. He had so much love for his family and friends. He was always uplifting and happy for me! I will miss seeing his sweet messages and I’m so sorry we never got a chance for that lunch. Mike, you were a kind soul that I know will be looking over all those you have loved in this life.  I pray you are on to your next adventure and it’s better then anything we on earth could imagine!

  Our worlds and realities without a doubt in fact do change with growth. May the gods or the power that be, be in your favor and the sun not at your back but as a light of guidance during your divine journey.  

 Thank you for being a true decent human, ill always cherish the many years of me walking to and from school mostly late after what ever sport/event i was doing , you would always stop and offer me a ride home and I would decline due to my exercise conditioning but when it would be pouring rain or cold AF,  you would speed up to me and slam on the brakes and say "Robinson get in the $%^&&^ car"  and i would hop on in.   Now that i think about it I could always distinctly pick out the sound of your car miles away no matter the time of day or where or what i was doing and without a doubt it would be you cruising around with or looking for the ladies!!! LoL

Michael and I grew up on the same street so naturally we became friends. All through high school we would hang out and did just about everything together. I remember how much the girls would swoon over Mike, asking me if he was single when out of earshot of him. Mike had lots of friends, but was not a big crowd person, so he liked to hang out/chill with his close friends. He loved his car, oh man did he love the Mustang Cobra. He would cruse around in it with the radio up and the seats way back. He did not drive it like it was stolen though, he took good care of it. The fastest I think I saw him drive was when a rain drop hit his windshield after he just washed and waxed the thing, Lol. He was a very funny guy, very smart witted with the jokes. I only have good memories of Mike and whatever bad times we have ever had were washed away by all the good times we shared. I will miss you Michael and I am happy that I got to be your friend and so sad that you are no longer with us. Until we meet again.

I met Mike when we were in our twenties and we hit it off immediately. Mike had one of the best senses of humor that I’ve ever come across in my 42 years. One of our favorite things to do was to gradually perfect impersonations of our friends, or girlfriends, or anyone. He was absolutely  hilarious with his impressions of folks. (meaning no harm of course) We would perpetually add small details, and mannerisms to the impressions so it never got old. Mike and I shared so many laughs. He knew exactly how to make me laugh until my jaw muscles would hurt.  I always enjoyed Mike’s company, and I’m proud to have called him my friend.  Mike was also a loyal and trustworthy friend. I loved him very much, and I already miss him dearly. My condolences to the family.
