Mrs. Mary Buckner Moore, 93, of Mableton, passed away on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017, at her home. She was retired from Southern Bell and was a member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore enjoyed traveling and was a very devoted Wife and a very loving Mother.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death, by her beloved Husband of 66 years, James J. Moore; and Sisters, Edna and Ruby. Her survivors include; son, Doug (Kathy) Moore; daughter, Joyce (Benny) Howell; 4 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 o’clock, Thursday, February 9th, 2017, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2000 Cobb Parkway S.E., Marietta, 30060. Mrs. Moore’s family will celebrate and honor her life, at 11:00 o’clock, Friday, February 10th, 2017, in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park.
