Mary Lynne Collins

Mary Lynne Lee Collins, 81 of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of May 16th, 2012. She bravely battled pancreatic cancer for over three years. Mary Lynne Lee (Collins) was born in Decatur in 1931, was a 1948 graduate of Thomson High School, was a cheerleader at the University of Georgia, graduating in 1952 and marrying Robert Christopher Collins of Montezuma GA.

She is survived by her two sons, Ralph Lee Collins of Marietta, GA (whom she resided with for the last five years) and Robert Christopher Collins of Lawrenceville, GA., seven grandchildren, Dr. Kevin Collins, Ralph Lee Collins, Jr., Marylynn Talmadge Collins, Bethany Collins, Kelsey Collins, Brianna Wormley and Fallyn Wormley. She is also survived by her brother Dr. Ralph Cail Lee Jr. of Ellijay.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2012 at 11:00am in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:30pm-9:30pm.
