Mary Ann Coleman

Mary spent her career as a hairdresser in the Tri Cities area of South Atlanta . She retired to Rome, Ga. where she helped care for her parents until their passing. She spent her final year in Holly Springs, NC., in order to be near her daughter, Becky Hughes.

In addition to her daughter, Becky (John,Sr.), Mary is survived by her four grandchildren; Jenny Dunn, John Hughes, Jr, Jaime Hughes, and Jeremy Hughes. She was also great grandmother to Camden, Audrey, and Torstyn.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Winnie Pickelsimer, and one brother, Donald Pickelsimer. She is also survived by five siblings; Jane Green, David Pickelsimer, Bill Pickelsimer, Jim (Mickey) Pickelsimer, and Sue Giuliani.

Mary will be remembered for her kindness, her desire to always put others first, and her unique ability to always remember special dates and people.

We will celebrate her life at a visitation, from 10 am to 12 pm, Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Parkway SE, Marietta Ga 30060. Her burial will follow in the Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery
