Marie Davis Bryant, 77 of Marietta, Georgia, died at home Monday, December 22, 2014 of heart failure. She was born in Erwin, Tennessee. She earned an Associate Degree in Journalism from Georgia State University, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kennesaw University (Suma Cum Laude). She served as President of DeKalb Federation of Garden Clubs. She worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Atlanta Braves. She was a Secretary to U.S. Congressman Weltner, and a Cobb County School Bus Driver. She became Director of Consulting Services for the Georgia Credit Union League. She was a faithful member of the United Church of God. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, William H. Bryant Jr. Her surviving children include; William H. & Delores Bryant III, Mark D. & Heidi Bryant, Alan C. Bryant, John M. Bryant, David R. & Courtney Bryant, Sharon J. Colby; grandchildren, Eric M. Bryant, Andrew J. Bryant, Jacob M. Bryant; siblings, Ray & Wanda Davis; cousins, Barbara Forbes, Kenneth Gouge, G. R. Davis; Sister of her Heart, Wanda Davis; Daughters of her Heart, Vickie Belcher, Valerie Bausell, Karen Reed, Mary Jane King; and Best Friends, Betty Evans, June Wilkinson.
