She is preceded in death by her husband, George Beck and sister, Dorothy Hallock.
Survivors include her son, Ray Beck and nephew, Rob Hallock.
Dr. Beck began her career in elementary education, and later teaching at the collegiate level at the University of South Florida. While living in Georgia, she worked for the Atlanta Presbyterian Church, authoring eight volumes of study on the Bible. Along with these volumes, she also authored about twenty other Christian books during her career.
