Louise Griffin Anderson

Dorothy Louise Griffin Anderson age 89 passed away peacefully December 4,2022. She was born on March 27, 1934 to the late Homer Lee and Alma Jane Griffin. Louise lived in Pickens county but moved to Marietta for Work and Married Donald W. Anderson.(Andy )They lived, worked, and raised their children together in Marietta. Louise was Mother to two sons and three stepson. She devoted Her life to working and raising their children. Along with working and being a mother, she enjoyed gardening,was an avid reader and after retiring her and Andy enjoyed traveling and ballroom dancing.

Louise loved her family, children and grandchildren and was a great support to them all, She was loved by many and made a great impact on many peoples lives with her help and support.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. But she left many many wonderful memories for us all.

In addition to her parents Louise is preceded in death by her husband; Donald W. Anderson, Son; Darryl “Steve” Anderson, Brothers; Leon and Denver Griffin, Sister; Betty Spence.

Louise is survived by her children Son; William Scott (Lisa) Anderson, Janice Anderson, Stepsons; Ronald Anderson, William Micheal (Melinda)Anderson, Terry(Marsha) Anderson.

Grandchildren: Lisa (Matt) Abernathy, Andrew (Allie) Murphy, Cameron Anderson, Melodie (Brannon) Whatley, Meredith (Roger) Lowe, Jeff (Allison)Anderson, Jonathan(Tiffani) Anderson, Joshua( Vanessa) Anderson.

Great Grandchildren: Madison Abernathy, Taylor Abernathy, Kenna Whatley, Wade Whatley, Brealynn Lowe, Conner Lowe, Caiden Anderson, Lucy Anderson, Ella Anderson, Nolan Anderson, Emmie Clair Anderson, Laila Anderson, Maier Anderson, Crosby Anderson, Jones Anderson, and Ryker Anderson. Bentley Murphy, Easten Murphy and many more family, and friends that loved and will miss her.

The Following Gentlemen will serve as Pallbearers: Andrew Murphy, Cameron Anderson, Matt Abernathy, Greg Spence, Jonathan Anderson, Justin Plummer.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery Winkenhofer Chapel, 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. A committal service will occur Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060.
