Linda Lee Shilling

Linda Lee Shilling, age 80, of Roswell, GA passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2023 with family by her side. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1943 to Earl and Hazel Miller. She graduated from Woodward High School in Cincinnati, OH.

Linda had a zest for life, but most special to her were her family. On December 28, 1962, she married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Robert “Bob” Shilling. They spent the next forty-one years together before his passing in 2004. Linda loved celebrations and holidays, creating lifetime memories and traditions for her family, as well as friends. Linda was the biggest cheerleader and fan of anything her grandchildren did. Over the years, she graciously hosted countless visits and vacations to Hilton Head Island for her family and friends. Cherished memories were made by anyone who was fortunate to have experienced her “paradise”. Linda enjoyed supporting her neighborhood community of Loch Highland serving on the HOA board and numerous committees over the past 40 years. Linda was also an avid tennis player, crafter and gardener.

Linda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Shilling and parents, Earl and Hazel Miller.

She is survived by daughter, Kim (John) Wright; son, Greg (Molly) Shilling; siblings, Bill (Pat) Miller, Jerry (Sue) Miller, Kenny (Jenny) Miller, and Debbie Aubrecht; treasured grandchildren, Sydney Wright, Emily Wright, Luke Shilling and Alex Shilling; grauntchildren, Taylor (Tina) Aubrecht, Morgan Aubrecht and Miller Aubrecht as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 1st, 2023 at Roswell Presbyterian Church, 755 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075.
