Linda Sue Baker Dobbins

Linda Sue Baker Dobbins, 64, of Kennesaw, GA, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 6, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of First Baptist Woodstock, with Reverend John Pope officiating.

Linda leaves behind her devoted husband of 43 years, Greg Dobbins; sister, Debbie Baker Foster; cousins, nieces, nephews and her extended family with the Cobb County Police Department and Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.

Born and raised in Marietta, GA, Linda graduated from Sprayberry High School. She began her career at the Cobb County Superior Court and then proudly served for 25 years with the Cobb County Police Department, STEP unit, where her passion for her work was evident to all who knew her. Linda gave 45 ½ years of dedicated service to her community. Linda was a dedicated member of First Baptist Woodstock, where her faith was central to her life.

Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 10th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel and the hour before the service at the Church.
