Lewis James Hammond

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday morning at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Art Wilder officiating; interment, Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lewis James is survived by his wife, Judy Hammond; son, C.J. Hammond of Gainesville, GA; sisters, Gladys Wood of Lafayette, GA, Connie Wolff of Marietta and Kathy Herman Woodstock, GA; nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Kidney Fund.
