Lena Ruth Miller

Mrs. Lena Ruth Miller, age 86, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on February 13, 2020. Mrs. Miller was born in 1933 to Robert & Julia Kent. She graduated from Northside High School and was a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and being around people. A woman of faith, she spent her spare time in the service of the Lord involved in church activities. Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph H. Miller, and her daughter, Melani Ruth Tressel. She is survived by her son, Joseph Eddie (Alice) Miller, daughter, Kathi (Bobby) Higgins, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests between 5:00pm and 7:00pm on Monday, February 17, 2020 at H.M. Patterson & Son – Canton Hill Chapel, in Marietta. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son – Canton Hill Chapel with Rev. Art Wilder officiating. Her committal at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, in Atlanta will follow her funeral service.
