She was surrounded by her three children, their spouses, and her beloved grandchildren. She was a nurturing mother, the best A-ma (grandmother in Taiwanese), a beautiful soprano singer, an enthusiastic sports fan, a patient teacher, and a devout Christian. She was happiest in her hometown of Taitung, Taiwan where she will finally rest.
She was predeceased by her husband, the father of her three children, Ming-Chu Wen. Lan is survived by her two daughters: Ju-Hsin Lusk (Todd Lusk), Ju-Chun Casey (Steve Casey), and her only son, Hung-Chung Wen (Lisa Wen). Additionally, her grandchildren, who brought her unsurpassed joy are: Keely Wen Woods ( Kegan Woods), Alison Lusk Friday (Graham Friday), Jonathan Lusk, Kevin Casey, Steven Casey, Felise Wen, Elias Wen, Lydia Wen, Luisa Wen, and Aedan Wen.
Visitation will be held at 4:00pm EDT with service at 6:00pm EDT on Thursday, May 27, at H. M. Patterson & Son – Canton Hill Chapel located at 1157 Old Canton Rd., NE, Marietta, GA, 30068.
