Kathleen Dotson Brookshire, age 82, of Marietta, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, Marietta. Mrs. Brookshire, born in Cullman, Alabama, was a daughter of the late, C.O. and Vada Mae Overton. She was a warm and caring homemaker who “never met a stranger” and loved children. Mrs. Brookshire was always full of life and enjoyed her bible study and church time at Delmar Gardens.
Survivors include her son, Dennis Dotson; daughter, Priscilla Etheridge. Sister and brother, Louise Miller and Horace Overton. Grandchildren: Mart Hicks, Keith Dotson, Tom Holland, Brian Dotson, and Justin Dotson. Great grandson, Nathan Pearson; and great great grandchildren, Zack Dotson and Ryan Pearson.
