Julie Lene Baker, 57, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Julie was born in Atlanta, GA on March 27, 1960. She graduated University of California, Davis in 1984 and began a long career of teaching First Grade. She touched many lives in so many ways. Her loud, contagious laugh and her beautiful blue eyes could light up a room and will be missed deeply. She is preceded in death by her loving father, James Carson Baker, Jr. Surviving loves ones include her mother, Florence Moore Baker; Sister, Melanie Baker, Brother-in-law, Jerry Schell; nieces, Emma and Lila Schell; Brother, David Baker; nephew Zane Baker; Brother, Matthew Baker; Sister-in-law, Paula Baker; nieces, Emily, Avery, Sarah and nephew Carson. A celebration of Julie's life will be Wednesday, May 31, 1pm in the Chapel of Mount Bethel Methodist Church, Lower Roswell Rd. Refreshments will follow.
