The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 1, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Carmichael Funeral Home on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta.

Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM at

Kennesaw Memorial Park on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta, GA with Rev. Joe Buckner officiating.

A dedicated wife, mother and homemaker, Ms. Barnes also enjoyed playing the piano. She was very caring and loved to help and serve others.

Ms. Barnes is preceded in death by her mother, Vada Hembree, father, John Hembree and husband Delane Barnes. Brother John Hembree, sisters Vada Scott, Mary Massey, Lillian Stone, and Daisey Sergeant.

Survivors include:

2 sons; David (Venesa) Northcutt, Derald Montgomery; sister Naomi Davis; grandchildren Daven Northcutt and Nick Lambert; great grandchildren Silas Northcutt and Orin Northcutt.

Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta has charge of arrangements.
