John Calvin Greene

John Calvin Greene, age 73, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Friday, August 18, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 25, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

A lifelong resident of Marietta, Mr. Greene built houses for most of his life. He was a member of the American Legion, and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by: Wife, Annie Mae Greene; 2 Children, Tammy Melissa Greene and John Calvin Greene, Jr.; Sister, Gwen Sowder; 2 Grandchildren, Angelica (Jonathan) Ferrer and Gracie Greene; 3 Great Grandchildren, Trevon Calvin Ferrer, Jonny Mateo Ferrer, and Marcelo Angel Ferrer; Nephew, Shane (Audra) Sowder; Niece, Brandy Sowder.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23rd and Thursday, August 24th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. Online guest book at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com.
