John Dunn Furman, Jr, age 79, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on April 30, 2020. He was born in 1940 to John and Mabel Furman. He graduated from the University of Georgia and John Marshall Law School with a degrees in Journalism and Doctor of Jurisprudence. He was employed by Cox Enterprises for 28 years and later retired from Chattahoochee Technical College in 2013.
In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, travelling, collecting sports memorabilia and was an active member and past president of East Cobb Rotary.
He is survived by his wife Elaine Furman, daughters Amy Greulich and Heather Spencer, and son Tripp Furman. His grandchildren Tad Greulich, Emily Greulich, Emma Spencer, Hayden Spencer, and Jack Furman.
John is preceded in death by his father, John Dunn Furman, Sr. and mother Mabel Furman.
There will be a celebration of life ceremony to honor John at a later date.
