Mr. Jerry Lee McBerry, 71, of Dallas, Georgia, died Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, surrounded by his loved ones. Jerry is the son of the late Floyd and Ethel Phillips McBerry. Jerry worked for the Smyrna Police Department as a Detective for 10 years. He proudly retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve after 20 years of service. Jerry retired from Lockheed Aircraft, after 30 plus years of service. He is survived by his beloved wife, of 50 years, Sandra Peppers McBerry. Jerry’s survivors include daughters, Robin Owens, Rhonda McBerry; daughters and sons in law, Nicole and Scott Ferguson; Noelle and Gaurav Sehgal; son and daughter in law, Matthew and Tillie McBerry; 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren; brother, Bobby McBerry; and sisters, Jane Carney and Linda Winkler.
Funeral services celebrating Jerry’s life will be held at 2:00 o’clock, March 30th, 2013, in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. Chaplin Tom Livingood will officiate. Interment will follow on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 o’clock, Friday, March 29th, 2013, at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home
