Mrs. Janette Thomas, age 87 of Marietta, passed away September 16, 2011. Mrs. Thomas was a member of Holt Road Baptist Church in Marietta for over 50 years.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Thomas, six siblings and one great-grandchild. She is survived by her daughters Sharon Thomas of Kennesaw, Cathy Ridge of Powder Springs, Bonnie Landers of White, GA and Anita Courrier of Powder Springs; sisters Verlin Giddens and Carol Thompson; brother Max Howell; 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 3:00pm at the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Alton Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Sunday, September 18 at the funeral home.
