Jana Frances Freeman

while on vacation, at the age of 56.

Upon graduation from the Grace King High School in Metairie, Louisiana; She enlisted in the US Navy

where she was trained as a Jet Engine Overhaul Specialist.

After an Honorable Discharge from the navy she went to work on the B1 Bomber as a Product Assurance Analyst,

when that job ended she then relocated to Marietta, Ga and went to work for Eastern Airlines.

After Eastern Airlines went out of business, she enrolled at KSU where she pursued and obtained her

Bachelor Degree In Information Services.

She is survived by her loving parents Frank and Jackie Freeman of Marietta, Ga; 2 Brothers John F. Freeman (wife Mary)

of St Augustine, Florida and Aubrey A. Freeman (Wife Roberta) of Clearwater, Florida, Aubrey is a Retired Cobb County Police

Officer. Jana is also survived by her 4 uncles,1 aunt, 4 nieces and 1 nephew.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday February 27, 2016 at 1:00pm at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel.

USAF Chaplain Major Stacey Hanson of the Midway United Methodist Church , Alpharetta, Ga. will be officiating.

In lieu of Flowers Donations may be made to the Cobb County Animal Shelter.
