James Wayne Roberts

Wayne was born on January 22, 1939, to Era Belle Roberts in Sumiton, Alabama. He grew up in Dora, Alabama and was raised by his mom and Luey Calvin Glover, Sr.

Wayne was preceded by death by his mother, sons Roddie, Timothy and grandson Dylan. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, children Wanda, Renee, David, Luana, Linda, Kerry; grandchildren Richie, Leslie, Megan, Ashley, Holly, Whitney, Kayla, Kali, April, Lilia and great grandchildren.

A visitation for Wayne will be on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 6PM to 8PM. The visitation will be at the Carmicheal Funeral Home on 1130 Whitlock Avenue NW, Marietta, GA 30064. All are invited to attend. Funeral service will be on June 15, 2023, at 2 PM with Rev. A.C. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
