Jim enjoyed the many facets of life but lost the battle that he fought with strength and dignity against pancreatic cancer on October 17, 2014. Ritchey thrived on going against the grain and lived his life to the fullest. Jim loved running his State Farm Agency, hunting, golfing and deep sea fishing. His greatest pleasures in life were spending time with his wife Michele and all their children, Jimmy, Lisa, Lynn, Jan, Mimi, Jon and Justin. His grandchildren, Robert, Nikki, Charis, Lauren, Hailee, Jacob, Rachel and Gia, Great Grandchildren Angelina, Teddy, Leo, Everette, Billy, Copeland, Wyatt, Sophia and Kash and nephew Jeffery Howard Ritchey.
Jim had a way of making everyone he met feel like a life-long friend. We will all miss him and will forever celebrate the life of Jim "Papa" Ritchey.
