Helen Elizabeth Brown

Helen was born on March 14, 1931 in Jackson County, Georgia to the late Fornia and Ora Faulkner.

Helen grew up in Pendergrass, Georgia. She spent her early married years raising her children with her husband Leon in Gainesville, Georgia. She moved to Smyrna, Georgia in 1964 and enjoyed a long, 35 year career at Lockheed Martin where she met her second husband Ed . After her retirement from Lockheed, she worked at the Sunshine House in Woodstock, Georgia engaging in one of her true passions -- caring for infants.

Helen is survived by her sister Peggy Samples Strickland, daughters Patti Culpepper (Kenny) and Pam Looper (Joe), son Tommy Henson (Myra), stepsons Ed Brown (Ann) and Terry Brown, and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed Brown, first spouse and father of her three children Leon Henson, brothers Bob, Jim, Bill, Ronnie, and Buddy Faulkner, and sister Lou Nell Faulkner Gee.

A memorial service honoring Helen's life will be held at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia on May 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
