I was very saddened to hear about the passing away of Guillermo at a young age. I have worked with him for many years and have fond memories of discussing safety aspects of nuclear power plants and practical implementation of regulatory requirements. His extensive technical knowledge and early life experiences made him an individual who could discuss anything with great enthusiasm. I will truly miss him.  My condolences and sympathies to the family. God bless his soul. 
   


My condolences to the Crespo family.  I met Guillermo during an NRC inspection.  I remembered his humor and enjoyed time spending with him during that inspection trip.  I will miss you Guillermo.

We are shocked and deeply saddened by Guille’s passing. His commitment to family, faith and his chosen profession were an inspiration to all. Guille was a very dedicated father, husband, and provider. He had endless energy and love to give to his wife, kids, family, friends and acquaintances. One of many great memories we had of Guille, was when we had family reunions and while playing Dominoes he blanked another team in a “Chiva”. He had the greatest infectious enjoyment, smiles and yells of satisfaction. At work he also extended his dedication and energy to his professional duties as a competent, beyond excellent, Electrical Engineer. He contributed a great deal of his energy and electrical design and construction expertise to this country’s fiber optics and data center infrastructure for many of our major national and international companies. He made a real impact and mark in the America as we know it today. Even in the latter days of his life he was still poised to continue his contribution to our country. We owe a great deal of gratitude to Guille as we utilize our internet, phones, and data centers every day. We are so sorry to see you go Guille! We know that God has welcomed you. 

Kitty, Ivan, Denise and family have prayed for you. Denise, Steven, Ryan, and Nathan are also joining us and your family in this time of grief. Good bye Guille, may God be with you.

Guillermo was a friend and colleague. We worked together in the same branch for many years, and it was a joy to have many technical discussions with Guillermo.  I feel blessed to have had hind influence my life.  I was shocked and saddened to here of his passing.  You have my condolences.  He will sincerely be missed by many of his colleagues.

Guillermo is a dear friend, work colleague, and mentor.  He was a dedicated public servant who was committed to his work and public safety while always having the most infectious smile. Guillermo we will miss you.

I had the extremely fortunate experience of growing up with this beautiful family. I appreciate you all and cherish the times that we spent together. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I'm holding you all in my heart. ♥️ 

I was very saddened to hear of your loss. I had the opportunity to work with Guillermo and I have to say that he was an amazing technical mentor to me. I will always remember his dedication and commitment as well as his willingness to help others succeed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. 

I met Guillermo many years ago when I first began working as a co-op student at the NRC's Atlanta office.  Guillermo was a kind mentor and somebody that I looked up to.  He always took time to coach and encourage new employees and he taught us a great deal about technical matters and more importantly, how to be a professional.  I will certainly miss him.

My deepest sympathy to Manuel, Carmen, and the rest of the family. I first met Guillermo 3 years ago during my detail to the NRC's Region II office.  His professionalism, warmth and friendliness immediately came through.  It was such an honor working with him.

Alberto and family, words can't express the sadness you feel right now. But take comfort in knowing God has your father and he is always with you.

Abu Guille,  thank you for coming to the door every time we came to visit - you were always ready to receive us into your home and the last one to see us off when we left.  I thank God that my sister married into such an amazing family because it gave me the privilege to know you.  Thank you for all the queso con guayaba, the ice cream floats, and the rest of the sweet memories.  You leave a very big hole in our hearts.  We miss you sorely

To the Crespo family.  When I heard the news this week that that my good friend Guillermo (husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, ect.) transitioned to the "Angel" status I felt such sadness, that words cannot adequately describe.  Guillermo was my NRC colleague for 12 years, he was kind,  caring,  a true friend and  my sounding board when I needed another professional opinion on an electrical issue (he loved to share his knowledge with everyone).  We had so many great discussions about life, how to solve the world problems and about his beautiful growing family.  I will miss those special conversations  however, those memories  will remain with me forever. You are now a beautiful "Angel" in heaven whose gentle spirit will remain with us forever...R.I.P. my friend...my condolences, sympathies and prayers to the Crespo family.

I met Guille in 1991, as years went by I could only see what a wonderful son he was, what an amazing husband and what a great father he has and will always be.  He would take his shirt off for anyone that needed it.  My family has been a recipient of his love and gratitude as well as Lisbel and the kids.  We were all literally a family when we were taken in by them.

He will be missed but his memories will always be with us.

I will deeply miss my friend Guillermo. Guillermo and I joined the NRC on the same day and had our offices right next to each other. For ten years we went out on inspections together. We ate lunch together every day, and solved all the world’s problems in our discussions. Guillermo loved to talk about his family, his experiences as a professional electrical engineer. and about how he was planning for retirement. I loved him as my friend.

We lost a great friend. Guillermo Crespo. He was kind and generous. We had many Christmases, Birthdays, and Easter celebrations with his family.  His laugh would fill up the whole room.  We are praying for Lisbelle Crespo , Manuel Crespo , Alberto J Crespo , Vito Crespo and their families for comfort during this time of grief. We will miss his family gatherings without him.  Be at peace, Guillermo. There are many Crespos to carry your name.

Mr. Crespo was a shining beacon of kindness, respect, dignity, intellect, hospitality, and joy. While the world seems much more dim with his passing, we can at least aspire to be a fraction of the torchbearer he was. I am grateful to have known him.

Hello my loving primos and Tia, I miss you all very much. I’m so very saddened to hear of Tio Guille’s passing. My heart aches for all of you. He was a great father and uncle and I have innumerable fond memories of him from childhood. From epic family vacations in the Crespo blue van to at home music jams  during the holidays with Guille on the piano. So much love and laughter, and he was always such a strong and leading presence in the family. A truly great loss! His memory and spirit will continue to live on in all of us everyday. Take comfort and strength in each other. I will come to visit you all soon. Take care and much love from myself, Steven, Ryan and Nathan. 

We have only wonderful memories of our many times together with Guille, Lisbelle and the Crespo family.  This is a heartbreaking loss for us, and everyone who knew this kind, funny and generous family man.  To say that he will be missed is an understatement, but all the fun and good times will be cherished forever.  After almost 40 years of friendship he has been taken too soon.  Rest In Peace my “brother from another mother”.

Words can not express the sadness I feel to lose such a vibrant and fun loving person from our world. I grew up as an “adopted” Crespo and to lose Papa brings me great sadness. I will always think fondly of our conversations and his wonderful interactions with his sons and his love of his wife. You were a great man who left behind an amazing legacy. My deepest sympathy to the Crespo family.  I first met Guillermo when he interviewed for a position as a construction inspector with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.  I was quite impressed with his extensive knowledge and experience in electrical engineering ("big and small wire"), design, construction, installation requirements, testing, and operation.  He had exactly the experience the agency needed at the time to build our construction inspection program and mentor new electrical engineers.  I was proud to have served with him.  He was always very friendly, personable, and professional.

Dear Manuel and family, this breaks our hearts!  We are so sorry.  Your Dad was a wonderful special man, with a ready smile, and a gentle heart.  It was an honor and priviledge to know him.  Our sincerest condolances.  Deb and Ernie Seymour
