Gerald Lee Beck (Gerry), 74, originally of Marysville, PA, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014, in Marietta, with his family by his side. Mr. Beck was a loving and devoted husband, father and granddaddy. In 1972 he started his own company, GB Art and Photography, retiring in 2009 to spend time doing the things he enjoyed most. He was a member of Mount Bethel United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Beck; and his brother, George Beck, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ginny Beck; his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Becky Beck; his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and David Woolsteen, all of Marietta; and his five grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Addy, Lee and Mitchell. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed. A Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 11 A.M.in the chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, he wished for donations to be made to the Cobb County Humane Society.
