Eloise Settle Quinnelly, 68, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, passed away June 28th, 2015, peacefully at home in the presence of her three children and two caregivers. Eloise had a great love for life and her sweet, tenacious spirit was a bright light always shining. Eloise was active for over twelve years with various breast cancer research organizations, walking hundreds of miles in events determined to help find a cure. Eloise was a 1964 graduate of Northside High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and a 1966 graduate of Stratford College in Danville, Virginia. She is survived by her three children, daughter, Eloise Kehr of Atlanta, Georgia; son, Kent Quinnelly of Marietta, Georgia; daughter, Dee Dee Quinnelly of Austin, Texas; her sister Cundell Settle deGolian and brother-in-law Richard deGolian of Batavia, IL. and her four nieces Cunnie deGolian, Wendi Mills, Suzanne deGolian, and Katie deGolian.
A private service will be held by the family on Saturday, August 8, 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church in Marietta, Georgia. A celebration of her wonderful life will be held 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the home of Barbara Gundermann at 800 Glenairy Drive NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30328 (for information regarding the celebration, Barb can be reached at 404.256.0136.).
