Born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, he was a Claims Adjustor by profession, but more importantly,
a fervent baseball and Atlanta Braves fan in life. Mr. Williams honorably served his country
during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughter, Sara Williams Sherrer and son-in-law Brantley and their two sons,
Alex and Daniel; daughter, Angela Williams; sister, Ms. Lucile Williams; many beloved
nieces and nephews. His parents, Dale Lewis Williams and Margaret Elizabeth Drake Williams
of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, predeceased him.
Family and friends are invited to assemble at the Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home,
2000 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, for visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a memorial service
at 1:00 p.m. to be followed by interment at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, Saturday, April 2, 2016.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) in Tribute/Memorial.
