Ms. Deborah Batts Pool, age 76, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on September 15, 2010. She was a longtime resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Ms. Pool was born the daughter of Harry and Virginia Teachey Batts. She was a former member of Westwood Hill Baptist Church, and was also a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk. She is survived by her son, Jeff Pool and his wife, Mary, of Marietta, Georgia, and her daughter, Susan Roy and her husband, Phil, of Frisco, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sarah Pool, William Pool, Max Pool, George Pool, Ashley Roy and Kevin Roy.
A private family service is being held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1925 Century Blvd., Ste. 10, Atlanta, GA 30345, in memory of Ms. Pool. H.M.
